Thankfully I have my twin sibling John running it with me.

Having more than one siblings that are both Heating as well as A/C specialists taking care of business is amazing. I mean that has how I would sound if I did not guess love I had to do the majority of the taxing work. I am the one who gets dirty, I am the one who has to shower after work to go out to breakfast plus I am the one that gets bumps plus bruises; John does some of the Heating as well as A/C work however he handles a lot of the purchaser service aspect of our Heating as well as A/C business. He’s wonderful at that for sure because I think I had some unlucky situations that I wish I handled better. John is just wonderful at keeping his emotions in check plus our Heating as well as A/C business would not thrive if I did not have him as my Heating as well as A/C partner. I am slightly jealous of John on how easy it looks to remain calm, cool, plus collected in some situations where the purchaser or purchaser is out of line. I don’t particularly think how he does it. The one unlucky thing about us is that both of us argue a lot, plus periodically it happens in front of our clients. It’s not a wonderful look that could be detrimental to our Heating as well as A/C business. I think that is the only time I see John losing his mind plus maybe I’m a immense problem with that. I should try to use more open dialogue with him plus both of us should try plus be better equipped emotionally in taxing times when it comes to repairs. I say we, however in all actuality I mean me.

I’m the a single who gets dirty, I’m the a single who has to shower after work to go out to dinner and I’m the a single that gets bumps and bruises, john does some of the HVAC work but he handles a lot of the customer service aspect of our HVAC business. He’s great at that for sure because I assume I had some unblessed situations that I wish I handled better. John is just great at keeping his emotions in check and our HVAC company would not thrive if I didn’t have him as my HVAC partner. I recognize that is the only time I see John losing his mind and maybe I’m a pressing complication with that. I should try to use more open dialogue with him and all of us should try and be better equipped emotionally in hard times when it comes to repairs. I say we, but in all actuality I mean me.

Last week, I called the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C corporation.

• I wanted to have the air conditioner component diagnosed.

They provided myself and others a date and time, and reminded myself and others they had a several-minute window for arrival. I knew all about the several-minute window. I just wanted to make sure I knew the date so I could give a heads-up to our boss, however since the time was late day, I was going to take a full-day off for personal time. On the day the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist was to arrive, I was cleaning our house. He got there shortly after the arrival time. I watched the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C service van pull into our driveway and was heading to the door when I heard more than one doors closed. I looked outside and saw more than one Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialists getting out of the service van. I knew how luxurious it was to have 1 Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist come to the house, and there was no way I was going to spend our money for more than one of them. They had better have a good reason for sending more than one men, or I was going to throw a hissy fit, when the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist came to the door; he showed myself and others his Heating, Ventilation, and A/C ID badge. I looked at the younger man kneeling behind him. The older man introduced him and said he was an apprentice. They brought him along to do the air conditioner component service, and all the older Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist had to do was watch him to make sure the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist did it right. I smiled, but asked who I was supposed to pay? He said I only paid for 1 Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist, however I was lucky and got more than one.

Last week, I called the HVAC corporation. I wanted to have the air conditioning unit took care of. They gave me a date and time, and reminded me they had a multiple-minute window for arrival. I knew all about the multiple-minute window. I just wanted to make sure I knew the date so I could give a heads-up to our boss, and since the time was late afternoon, I was going to take a full-day off for personal time. On the afternoon the HVAC serviceman was to arrive, I was cleaning our house. She got there shortly after the arrival time. I watched the HVAC maintenance van pull into our driveway and was heading to the door when I heard 2 doors closed. I looked outside and saw 2 HVAC servicemans getting out of the maintenance van. I knew how costly it was to have 1 HVAC serviceman come to the house, and there was no way I was going to spend money for 2 of them. They had better have a good reason for sending 2 men, or I was going to throw a hissy fit, however when the HVAC serviceman came to the door; she showed me her HVAC ID badge. I looked at the younger girl sitting behind him. The older girl introduced him and said she was an apprentice. They brought him along to do the air conditioning unit service, and all the older HVAC serviceman had to do was watch him to make sure the HVAC serviceman did it right. I smiled, however asked who I was supposed to pay? She said I only paid for 1 HVAC serviceman, although I was blessed and got 2.

Lately, our mind has been so preoccupied with random stuff that I am starting to forget to do a few important things, then and don’t get me wrong, forgetting a few jobs here in addition to there is normal, however I am now forgetting to do things that I consistently remembered before, for example, when leaving our home, I have consistently adjusted the temperature on our temperature control, but lately, I have been forgetting to do that… I adjust the temperature so that when the home is empty the cooling system doesn’t cycle on.

It makes no sense to have the cooling system cooling a home with nobody in it; So, decreasing the temperature control prior to leaving home is something that I have consistently done! But lately, it has been slipping our mind.

In fact, last week, I forgot to adjust the temperature control 3 times. And once I leave home, I am gone for about 14 minutes, which means our cooling system is cycling on in addition to off all day long. The a single positive side to that is, when I get home, our home is nice in addition to cool. But leaving the cooling system on all day in an empty home is a waste of money. After complaining to our daughter, she recommended that I get a programmable temperature control. I have never thought about getting a programmable temperature control, but it might just be the solution to our problem. I would be able to program the temperature control for the afternoons when I will be gone out of the house. So, the programmable temperature control would essentially eliminate our issue in addition to it would also save me so much money in the process. All around, the temperature control sounds prefer a good idea, so I placed an order for a single, in addition to it will be here next week.

Did you guess that your Heating & Air Conditioning component has an on/off shut-off switch? All these years, I have regularly had a Heating & Air Conditioning component inside my apartment or apartment plus never knew about it.

I regularly assumed that the shut-off switch was at the breaker, however there is another switch that is next to the component itself.

The shut-off switch for my Heating & Air Conditioning component is next to the condenser outside. I have regularly seen the small box on the wall next to the condenser unit, however I have never looked inside or have I ever inquired about it, plus, I usually leave all the outdoor service to my Heating & Air Conditioning corporation, plus she has never mentioned the shut-off switch to me. It is important to guess where the shut-off switch is in case you need to shut down the power to the outdoor condenser, the air handler plus the other components of the Heating & Air Conditioning unit. In addition to the shut-off switch, the breaker is another way to fully split the power to the Heating & Air Conditioning unit. I don’t anticipate using either switch any time in the near future, but let’s face it, I have never had a need to fully split the power to my Heating & Air Conditioning unit. Although, I don’t believe I will be using either switch, it is nice to guess where they are just in case. In my head, I would rather guess where the switches are plus not need to use them, than needing to use the switches plus can’t find them, however makes logical sense to me. So, if you’re like myself and others plus don’t guess where your Heating & Air Conditioning component cut-off switch is, take some time to find out. You never know, you might need to use it at some point.

Since I got my firstborn and became a stay-at-home mom, I’ve become more social media savvy. During one of the days when I felt like I should be doing more with my marketing skills, I saw a post on a friend’s status that their HVAC company was looking for a social media manager. I’d get to work remotely so long as I ensured that they gained visibility and customers online. It was such a win because I’d get to be home, working flexible hours while getting paid for my social media habits and experience. To start the role, I decided to pay for the company’s home service for HVAC maintenance because it would give me a chance to interact with an HVAC professional from my new company and experience their services. I needed to know what I was selling. I didn’t think my HVAC unit needed anything beyond changing the air filter since I was mainly focused on research, but the HVAC technician found a lot of fur and dirt in our ductwork which could only be sorted with duct cleaning. The air purification system experts explained why cleaning at least every four years was essential and even more often if you have a pet or other incidences of air quality deterioration. I noted facts about air quality systems maintenance, which made my first few posts for the company. The only headache has been getting bot replies to the posts, but I’m learning how to eliminate them because they affect interaction with actual clients. The expert also had experience with air quality systems, and I asked him about the best air purifier we could use to improve our indoor air quality. I knew the system had an air filter, but I wanted more. He told us we could opt for an air purification system to work alongside the HVAC system. The process had to be undertaken by highly trained personnel. We also chose to have a washable filter, saving us the trouble of buying new filters now and then. The HVAC technician also needed to ensure that our ductwork was in good condition or needed an upgrade. When he came for the inspection, we were happy to be told that the air ducts were okay. They only required duct cleaning to help with indoor comfort. A number of them needed duct sealing, but that was all. We had recently bought a new thermostat; therefore, we did not need to replace it as it was only a year old. We had not believed it when a friend of ours told us the benefits of an intelligent temperature regulator, and after experiencing it, there was no going back. The last thing was to schedule home services biannually for heater maintenance.

The first call was from a government office that needed HVAC maintenance.

I headed there since I was the only HVAC technician in the HVAC company who had yet to be assigned work from the previous day.

I arrived forty minutes after they had called and immediately set to work. During my lunch inspection, I noticed a leak in the air duct, and the system also needed duct sealing. Afterward, I went to the next home, where the homeowner required help with indoor comfort through duct cleaning and replacing the air filter. When I saw the state of the ductwork, it was evident that they should have asked for cleaning a year or two before. I work a lot with air quality systems in my line of work, and I am always happy to help families achieve their desired indoor air quality. In some homes, the HVAC unit is enough to accomplish that, but in other places, they must go the extra mile and buy an air purification system to achieve the goal. Some homeowners need to realize that some things, such as duct sealing, can be done during their ac care routine. My last job that day was for a customer who needed a local contractor for home services. It was for installing a new thermostat in a home with one of the most beautiful gardens I had ever seen. Everything was immaculate, and the grass on the lawn was so plush that I could think about walking barefoot. I couldn’t help but commend the homeowner for maintaining such beautiful gardens and lawns.
