Spring has sprung as my dad was always fond of saying.

But indeed, I see so much new growth and that awesome shade of green that comes with the baby leaves on the trees.

It’s the first week of March and we are fully into the rebirth of another Spring. I even heard a heat pump kick on a couple of afternoons in a row this week. My neighbor goes right for the thermostat switchover to cooling the second the temperatures break 79 for the first time. We tend to hold off on hitting the air conditioning right out of the gate. But before long, we’ll be closing up the windows, sealing the house tight and leave the air conditioning on. I like to get a bit more accustomed to the rising temperatures but I also get a bit knocked off my feet by pollen. Usually, we start off with all sorts of tree pollen which doesn’t bother me nearly as much as the grass pollens. And in our region, I get smacked hard with that about the first couple of weeks in April. That’s when it’s time to do a couple of HVAC chores prior to leaving the air conditioning on. First, I call for an air conditioning tune up in order to ensure that the heat pump is ready for all the cooling demand that is coming. That’s also when the HVAC technicians do the ductwork cleaning. This makes a big difference with my allergies as does switching to a HEPA filter. The sort of air filter removes nearly all of the allergens in the air. Since Spring has indeed sprung, I best call the HVAC company to set up appointments.

I keep it simple. Life is complicated enough without adding a bunch of chaotic mess to it. I’ve been this way since college. I think living inside the my parent’s house is the impetus for my perspective. It was a nice enough place to grow up. The house was modest but had decent residential HVAC and a backyard that seemed to be vast when I was a kid. It would probably be judged just over a postage stamp lawn these days. But the central air conditioning of that house was stuffed with my parent’s junk. Every trinket from every trip. All the stuff that was broken but only needed to be fixed. None of the stuff was ever fixed. I mean that pair was almost like a couple of hoarders. Not as bad as what I’ve seen on TV but way too close in comparison for my comfort. When I hit my dorm room with no air conditioning and only radiant heating in the winter, I started from scratch. Seriously, I pretty much came to college with just the basics and left college only accumulating some life essentials. Now that I have a nice house with my own quality heating and air, we keep it clean and organized. There is a space for everything and all our stuff is of good quality and used often. So when I found 5 boxes of stuff just stacked up in guest room, I had to inquire. My wife thought that she’d just store some stuff in there that she couldn’t find a place for. It’s her house too so maybe I just have to adjust but from a few boxes, it’s a slippery slope to the guest room becoming a storage locker with air conditioning. And I just don’t think I could handle that.

I know that is not a very nice thing to say, but the truth is the truth.

He is one of those people who doesn’t have very much common sense at all. I like him a lot and he is one of the nicest people around. That’s probably why I like him, honestly. It’s certainly not because he is super smart. I don’t know why he’s so goofy, but that’s just the way that he is. Anyway, the other day at my house I started to notice that the temperature was dropping inside. It’s been really cold outside for the past few weeks, and I have had the thermostat turned way up to combat the freezing cold temperatures. I had the heating set at 72 degrees, but when I went to look at the thermostat, it was only 66 inside of the house! I did not know what the problem was, and then I noticed that the alert was flashing that the batteries were low in the thermostat. I had my boyfriend find some batteries so that he could change the batteries in the thermostat for me. However, the next morning, it was even colder in my house than it had been the day before! I went to look at the thermostat again and the alert was still flashing. When I checked the batteries, it turned out that my boyfriend had put them in completely backwards and upside down! I don’t know what he was thinking. No wonder the furnace wasn’t working.

The bosses at my HVAC company have been really wonderful to me over the past year.

• I have been dealing with a lot lately and they have been nothing but supportive to me throughout the entire time.

There have been a lot of bad things that have happened to me in the last 12 months and I thought for sure that I would end up losing my job because of all of the work that I ended up having to miss. However, my bosses have not only held my job for me, but they also gave me extra sick days to use along with several pay advances when I needed them. I really could not have asked for a better support system during all of the things that have been going on. I was in the hospital for an extended length of time, my sister passed away, and then I had to take on the care of my niece and my nephew. It’s been one thing after another trying to deal with all of this, but the people at the HVAC company have been really great to me throughout all of it. I will never forget them for it and I plan on working here at this HVAC company for the rest of my life if they will let me! I mean, I already thought that this was a great place to work, even before all of the events of the past year. Now, I know that the HVAC company is more like a family than just a typical job.

When people need Heating as well as A/C work done, they call my twin sibling Mark plus I at our Heating as well as A/C business, however i’ll be honest, they mainly talk to me because he has harshly exhausting communication skills.

It’s the unlucky truth, but he has tried talking to some of our clients at times over the PC plus anything they ask or need gets lost in the conversation.

He has messed up busy appointments, ordered the wrong parts, plus has just been rude at times. He told someone over the PC a few weeks back to “shut up plus listen.” Apparently, he did not love how Mr, but smith was trying to supply Mark pointers on how to do some Heating as well as A/C work. I understand Mark plus I have been doing this for years, approximately 20 however both of us did lose a purchaser that day plus Mark was out of line, however there were a few other instances however from that day forward I have been the point of contact for any heating plus cooling questions or needs. Outside of his purchaser alterations at times he plus I need to work on being a better team. This Heating as well as A/C business cannot run without us however both of us have had some complaints about our interactions with each other while laboring at clients’ houses or businesses. We tend to have child-like fights plus it gets ridiculous. Maybe both of us can go into some sort of team counseling? Do they even offer that? I just want to make sure our Heating as well as A/C business thrives so that when both of us get older both of us can pass it down to our kids. I hope he would want the same thing.

It’s not a nice look that could be detrimental to our Heating and Air Conditioning business

Running an Heating and Air Conditioning supplier can be rough. Thankfully I have our twin sister John running it with me. Having more than one sisters that are both Heating and Air Conditioning servicemans taking care of supplier is amazing. I mean that’s how I would sound if I didn’t believe love I had to do the majority of the hard work. I’m the a single who gets dirty, I’m the a single who has to shower after labor to go out to lunch and I’m the a single that gets bumps and bruises, john does some of the Heating and Air Conditioning labor but she handles a lot of the client repair aspect of our Heating and Air Conditioning supplier. He’s wonderful at that for sure because I believe I had some unlucky situations that I wish I handled better. John is just wonderful at keeping her emotions in check and our Heating and Air Conditioning supplier wouldn’t thrive if I didn’t have him as our Heating and Air Conditioning partner. I’m slightly jealous of John on how simple it looks to remain calm, cool, and collected in some situations where the client or client is out of line. I don’t certainly believe how she does it. The a single unlucky thing about us is that every one of us argue a lot, and sometimes it happens in front of our customers. It’s not a nice look that could be detrimental to our Heating and Air Conditioning business. I know that is the only time I see John losing her mind and maybe I’m a immense concern with that. I should try to use more open dialogue with him and every one of us should try and be better equipped emotionally in difficult times when it comes to repairs. I say we, however in all actuality I mean me.

My boyfriend JJ got porcelain veneers for his teeth.

I am sorry to say that they really look ridiculous.

I really can’t tell you what he was thinking whenever he decided to go to the dentist to get these. I thought that he was just going to have a consultation done. But then when he came by to visit me later in the day, he had already had the porcelain veneers put on! I was so shocked and surprised when he smiled at me with these big porcelain veneers that I nearly keeled over. I was amazed by these giant white teeth that were in his mouth but I didn’t want to say anything that would hurt his feelings. I was really mad about it, too. I had told him over and over that we needed to go and talk to the dentist about it together before he just went and did it, but that day he said that he wanted to just get it over with. By the time he got to my work, he was convinced that his new porcelain veneers were the best thing that he had ever had done in his life. To me, though, they did not look natural at all. I couldn’t believe that he did this without consulting me first. I am not a shallow person at all, I don’t think, but I am honestly thinking that I am going to have to break up with him because of this. I can’t believe that anyone would want to get porcelain veneers for the teeth like the ones that he has now. Someone at the dentist’s office should have told him that they looked terrible. They never should have let him out of there looking like that.

My friend Brian started working for a beekeeping and honey supply place a couple of years ago.

The beekeeping place is way up on top of a mountain at the edge of town.

You have to drive really far up this old dirt road to get to it and it’s really cool up there. We live in the middle of nowhere, to tell you the truth. The man who owns the beekeeping and honey business with his wife are pretty old and set in their ways. They’re nice people, though. They just don’t want a lot of people up there on their property. They have a fence all around the whole area and a great big gate that blocks the road so nobody can get in if they aren’t supposed to. Brian told me that they keep the whole farm locked down most of the time. He said that he has the code but that they make him keep it under wraps. He’s not allowed to let anyone else into the farm and Brian says that it’s really weird that they keep a beekeeping and honey farm locked up tighter than a castle with a moat. I would agree. I don’t know what they could possibly be keeping so secretive up there but they are doing something! They have a really thriving business with their local raw honey, though. Brian takes care of all of that business with their online website so that people don’t have to go up there to make their purchases. Brian says that he doesn’t really mind it, though. He says that he would rather stay there than work with the public more anyway.

I was looking at a home that was said to have some quirks, but the house was in perfect condition.

• I looked at the house before calling the realtor.

My partner and I did a driveby, and the owner was home. He saw us looking around and asked if we wanted to come in and look around. He showed us the two bedrooms upstairs and the master bedroom with an ensuite garden tub. The house was small from the outside, but it was large inside. I loved how he had turned the basement into a small apartment, and he was renting it out to a young man to make some extra money. There was soundproofing in the ceiling so he wasn’t bothered by his downstairs tenant. The last thing he showed us was the garage. He said that when he ought the house, the HVAC system was originally in the basement. After deciding to make the basement into an efficiency apartment, he moved it to the garage. The HVAC system still worked, but he preferred the heat pump he had installed. He said his energy bill went up twenty dollars when he had the ductless HVAC system installed, but he was no longer spending one hundred dollars a month on heating fuel, and he now had central HVAC. By the time my partner and I called his realtors, we were already prepared to buy the house. We asked the owner when he was willing to make settlement. He told us that if he could do it that day, he would. He was moving in with his son and daughter-in-law.
