I was lucky enough to inherit our beach current home from our parent’s.

This was our childhood home, plus our parents intended on keeping it, but they still wanted a current home, so while they moved out, they let myself and others have it.

I suppose I am entirely lucky, because entirely few people can say their parent’s let them have their house. Anyways, everything was going well until the Heating plus A/C broke down… Now the Heating plus A/C component was at least 10 years seasoned if not older, so this was no surprise that it was splitting down. Even though I was making a ton of money, I wasn’t planning on spending much on getting a current Heating plus A/C component. I also didn’t want to go without heating plus cooling, so I decided to look for cheaper options. I figured appreciate most items, you can find a cheap alternative online, plus that I would be saving money online, well, I was right, I found someone selling a used window air conditioning plus bought. I was quite ecstatic with myself for awhile, because I thought I had just saved a ton of money. That is, until I had the Heating plus A/C installed, it turns out it worked appreciate crap. It barely heated or cooled anything, plus I complained to our father about the issue. She told myself and others that Heating plus A/C devices are not something you can be cheap on, you have to get a nice quality heating system plus air conditioning if you want a comfortable house. So now I am back to square a single, except now I have a practically useless air conditioning.

If there is something I have l acquired from being a Heating plus A/C specialist, it is that people suppose entirely little about how their heating plus cooling systems absolutely work! This always bothers me, because I appreciate to suppose how everything operates in our home, plus I will do minutes of research if it means figuring out how all of the parts come together to make everything work, but I suppose some people are pleased to remain blissfully unaware, but i have figured this out when I would go to people’s homes plus talk to them about the weird parts of an a/c.

9/10 I would be greeted with blank stares.

I would then have to go into detail about how all of the inner parts work, but most of the time I am unable to finish because they look incredibly bored by our speech; Anyways, some of those people are our friends. They’ll ask myself and others the official about our afternoon, plus when I start to go into details about how discouraging it is for no a single to understand Heating plus A/C systems, I am greeted with the same common blank stare on their faces, then so then I have to explain the basics of heating plus cooling to our friends, plus since they are our friends, they’ll listen, even though I can tell they are bored. I need to find someone who has a passion for Heating plus A/C appreciate I do, even our coworkers are grumpy though! Maybe eventually I’ll find someone who will absolutely show interest in what I am saying, plus not looking appreciate they would rather be anywhere else in the world.

It’s funny because I didn’t know that going to a wedding was going to help me prepare for my wedding.

I remember how nice it was with the tents they had set up and they had these truly powerful HVAC systems that were portable.

They were massive and they provided plenty of cooling for those tents during the warm season. I mean, I can’t imagine what the costs would be to run a powerful HVAC system like that outdoors in the heat, but it certainly was perfect for the event! I was thinking it would be great to have a wedding like that, but preferably in front of a majestic waterfall or something like that. When I eventually proposed to my girlfriend, I told her my ideas about getting married. She said as long as she could share my last name, she was delighted to be my wife. When we got a venue, I remembered those powerful HVAC systems they rented at the previous wedding I was at, and so I made sure to call these people up to rent a powerful HVAC system and a good air purification system. They ended up hooking up a nice UV air purification system which they said kills harmful pathogens so people don’t get sick. That was the best thing I heard from these people and I loved telling people that their health was being protected by the HVAC components. It was a wonderful wedding and I have been having the time of my life with my wife. We just need to start thinking about upgrading our old HVAC unit in our house.

I know it’s important to share everything with your significant other, but I never told her that I was highly allergic to cats.

I guess it’s something that made me feel vulnerable like I had some kind of pathetic weakness. I honestly hoped it was something that never had to come up. Unfortunately there came a time when there was suddenly a cat in our home. When I was asking her about where the cat came from, she told me how she found it outside in the cold and it seemed lost. I thought I could deal with this cat temporarily, but it was tough. I was sneezing and wheezing like crazy and I tried to stay away from the cat, but the animal fur was building around the house. I suddenly had cat fur on my clothing and everything. When I saw how clogged the air filter was, I tried to use that as an excuse. My wife said I wasn’t fooling anybody, she could tell that I was allergic to the cat. She told me that I should have told her about that a long time ago. I lamely told her how I didn’t want to feel weak in front of her, and she laughed at me after that. She said that was the craziest thing she had ever heard. Then she brought on the guilt trip saying that if I had been in a coma, she wouldn’t have known of a severe allergy like that which I had. I told her we could keep the cat and had an air purification system installed. Now I change the air filters regularly and keep my air purification system serviced.

I was so worried about our son when he broke up with his girlfriend.

We knew how much he invested in the relationship and she just easily dumped him for some football player guy as our son refers to him as.

He was out there driving on the road during a heavy rainstorm. We told him he shouldn’t be driving in those dangerous conditions, but he didn’t want to be bothered and he couldn’t be reasoned with. He ended up getting into a bad accident. Evidently, he was adjusting the temperature control settings while he couldn’t get his tears under control. He was crying and blasting music on the radio and he didn’t know what to do. He ended up losing control on the road and he almost hit oncoming traffic. He flew off the road and he was hurt pretty bad, but at least he was wearing his seatbelt. We’re just glad that he is alive and we know that he is okay. He is always telling us how horrible the temperature control settings are in the hospital though. That’s something he always brings up and he nags the nurses regularly. Unfortunately they always remind him of the strictly temperature control setting policy at the hospital. It has something to do with preventing the spread of germs. I told my son that when he comes back home, we are going to have an upgraded HVAC system. When he asked what it was going to be, I told him it was a ductless mini split and he would have his own customized temperature control settings in his room.

I thought everything was fair with my father’s will after he passed away. He was not young, he lived a good life. He actually ran a successful HVAC company and that was also mentioned in the will. I was happy to learn that I would be taking over the HVAC company with an impressive amount of money. His household was to be split evenly amongst siblings and everybody else got a little more money than I did because I inherited the operation of the HVAC business. It was a well oiled machine with excellent staff members and these were guys I spoke to regularly. I actually do have my own HVAC certification, but not a business degree. I have been an independent contractor though and I have worked with my father’s business on many occasions. I never really thought about operating the place, but I do already have some great ideas. I want to focus on our advertising and make sure we have a strong internet presence. I want us to be fully interactive with our clients and I want everybody to be well informed about all our services and promotions. I also want to provide special services for people who are struggling financially. Just so people don’t abuse the system, we will only provide that service when they show in some way the state of their finances. We can’t just be offering a lower payment option for people who are not struggling and only working to abuse our system. Overall though, I’m happy with how things are going now.

The sun in our region can be quite intense.

And it shines most of the days of the year.

That sunlight has a direct effect on the interior temperature of our homes. And that forced the HVAC to work harder in order to cool the house. When I purchased this home, it was my idea not to hang curtains. We were in a rural area with no neighbors in site. Plus, there was so much wildlife all around us that I wanted to be sure to have an unobstructed view. While it took some getting accustomed to, I really did like having the constant views. However, when the first utility bill arrived for the summer, I was stunned. The cooling costs from the HVAC were just out of sight. That led to a hasty ad hoc covering of all the windows in the house. I just got some cheap plastic blinds. The HVAC costs went down dramatically. However, I really didn’t like the look of the plastic blinds and I missed having the views. Once the summer was over, we took those plastic blinds down and stored them. This year, we had an entire solar shade system installed in our home. What’s really awesome about these shades is that they are designed to mitigate direct sun heating almost entirely. Plus, they can by synced to our smart HVAC thermostat. It simply note the rise of temperature in different areas of the house and deploys the shades to stop the direct sun heating. It’s a great compromise between keeping the HVAC cooling costs down and having the view.

I live in the south and I count myself lucky for that. There really isn’t much of a reason I could consider to leave this area. And I have seen many other regions across the country so I have a bit of comparison. I had a jo that took me to a northern most region where I learned all about how miserable a serious winter can be. I never wanted to leave the HVAC heat vent. I literally moved my chair so that the heat blew directly on me. Either at home or at the office, I was always trying to increase the HVAC heat levels. Fortunately for me, that job didn’t last too long and I was able to take a position back here in the south. This is the place where we get both our heat and our cool from the HVAC heat pump. No more furnaces for me thankyou. Our winters are warm enough that I don’t even feel the need to turn on the heat all that often. But the summer is the big trade off. That is where the heat pump really does shine. The heat and humidity are pretty much in need of supplemental cooling about 8 months of the year. I have a great HVAC heat pump that is super efficient. It has a high SEER rating and is also eco friendly. However, you still have to be vigilant about the HVAC setting in the summer or you’ll end up draining your bank account. But, it’s really not too tough to balance out.

I wish it hadn’t taken a pandemic for me to realize just how important indoor air quality really is. But that was the case. At least something good has come out of this terrible health crisis. What got me to thinking about the indoor air quality was all the time that myself and my family were spending inside the HVAC comfort of our home. It just dawned on me that perhaps I should learn something about the indoor air we are breathing. I did this thinking that perhaps better air would lead to better health. I was right but I just didn’t realize the extent that indoor air quality has on our health. With the immune system being so vital to getting through this virus, I was wanting my entire family to do what they could to improve their immune response. Indoor air quality has a major impact on immune health. Poor indoor air results in a near constant attack on the respiratory system as well as our sinuses, etc. The HVAC in our homes has a huge impact on whether we have good indoor air quality or poor indoor air quality. The first thing all of us can do is upgrade the HVAC air filter. A good HEPA type air filter will trap over 99 percent of indoor air contaminants. However, you can get incredible air quality that smells so perfect with an HVAC upgrade. That would be the whole house indoor air filter. This thing is actively killing airborne contaminants which results in the best indoor air quality possible. And the air inside your home will be fresher than you have ever experienced.

Every year, I tell myself that this will be the year that I actually work a plan to save on the cost of HVAC cooling during the summer season.

This is not the first time I will be making the plans. I just hope that this is the first time that I actually stick to the plan, execute the plan and really reduce the HVAC costs. Living in our region, HVAC cooling is a big deal. It’s also a big expense. However, there really is no getting through the thick heat of summer without the HVAC. I honestly don’t think I could do that. I’d have to move. However, I know that I have wasted so much money when it comes to over cooling the house. That’s why I am determined to put that money in my pocket this year. First, I have made an appointment to have the heating & cooling unit inspected and serviced. I try to do this at least once a year. Having the HVAC in its best shape is a big part of the plan because then it will be running at its most efficient. However, I will help ease the load by making sure the house is sealed up tight. But really, the biggest thing is making sure we keep the HVAC thermostat at a reasonable setting. To that end, I have learned how to program the thermostat in order to have the temps rise as they do outside. Then, the cooling will come back to a more comfortable setting in the evening. I expect to save close to 20 percent if I can consistently maintain this HVAC savings strategy.
