When I had my gas furnace inspected, I was assuming my maintenance plus service agreement was going to cover the cost of the service.
- Had I known I was going to need to spend money for the service even with the agreement, I would have saved my cash plus not obtained the service agreement.
When the Heating plus A/C serviceman arrived to do the service, I showed him my maintenance agreement plus wanted to make sure the servicing was included. He said it included the service plus tested the gas furnace. When he was getting ready to go home, he brought the report to myself and others plus discussed what all he had to do. He then gave myself and others a bill for the parts plus labor. I was a bit aggravated plus asked if he was sure this was the way the maintenance agreement worked, because I was under the impression everything was included. Before he left, I called the Heating plus A/C dealer plus questioned the cost of the labor plus parts. The guy who answered the cellphone told myself and others I was only responsible for the cost of the parts. The maintenance service plus labor during the maintenance was free. They asked to speak to the Heating plus A/C serviceman plus must have told him how the agreement works, because he hung up plus apologized, then gave myself and others a new bill with labor marked as no charge. I thought long plus tough before I obtained the maintenance agreement for my Heating plus A/C system, because the price was a bit more than I expected, however I saved more than I spent on just the first visit.
