I can remember being in school especially when the weather was starting to get hot plus dreading going to school.
Our school district did not get a whole lot of funding plus grants from the state because of how small our school was… So because of the lack of funding, my associate and I did not have fancy athletic interests fields, new hallways or a central air conditioning system throughout the school.
It didn’t beginning to get hot out until the middle of March. I can remember complaining to my mom about how I did not want to go to school because of how warm it was going to be in there. The classrooms did not have any central air conditioning system. Some classrooms would have a window air conditioning unit however it still wasn’t as effective as having central air conditioning. Central air conditioning is great because there are vents plus forced air is coming out of those vents. The forced air is equally balancing the temperature throughout the room. The window air conditioning units were not all that effective since the temperature in some of the classrooms were not balanced. Window Air conditioning units are effective for smaller rooms however not for the greater classrooms that they were in. It would take at least almost two hours for the classroom to get to the desired temperature that the air conditioning unit was set to. Now 7 years later, the school has finally acquired enough currency for a local heating cooling supplier to install a central heating plus cooling system! Unfortunately I was not able to experience this air conditioning system however maybe one day my children will be able to.
