as I was getting on the plane today the first thing I thought was oh my goodness did I turn off the AC? I am leaving on a trip for three months and the last thing I want to do is leave the AC running if there’s nobody going to be in my house.
My cat is being watched by my sister-in-law so I don’t have to worry about cooling the house for her. If someone were staying at my house while I was away I would not have worried about this issue. The first thing I want to do when I get back from my trip is have a smart thermostat installed in my home. I’ve heard that they are not hard to install and that they are very handy for people who travel a lot. I don’t travel that often but when I do it happens to be for long periods of time. When I have to worry about turning off the AC while I’m also worrying about going on a long business trip, it really stresses me out. I hope that my AC is turned off and I will have to have my neighbor go by and check. I left a spare key for my neighbor so that they could make sure my house was fine if I were to do something stupid like leave the AC on. I will have to call my neighbor as soon as we land and talk to her about checking on my AC.
