I actually had bought a new thermostat that day.
There is nothing wrong with wanting new things. You just need to understand how fortunate you are to have new things. I am so fortunate to be able to afford to get new things for myself. I feel very fortunate to even just be able to pay for new HVAC equipment. I may not have needed it, but I wanted it. I have needed a new thermostat to put on the wall. I wanted a new thermostat because last week I was in the HVAC business in town. I noticed that they have new thermostat. These particular thermostats are digital and smart thermostats. I currently have a dial thermostat which allows me to control the temperature in the house. I decided that it was not enough for me anymore. I wanted a new thermostat that could offer me a lot of different features. I want to control fan speed, humidity, to control everything from my smartphone and more! A smart thermostat could also adjust itself automatically. Eventually it learns my patterns. Instead of having to change the thermostat at a certain time, it will eventually change right on its own. The best part is that I could also turn that feature off if I had wanted. I actually had bought a new thermostat that day. I am installing the thermostat next week. I set up an appointment to have an HVAC professional come to the house to install it. I can’t wait to use it soon! I know it is going to be life changing for me in my house.
