On Saturdays and Sundays, my wife and I like to drive around town and go to the antique and custom furniture shops.
I’m always on the lookout for older pieces of furniture.
A lot of the custom furniture shops and antique stores don’t realize they have a cool piece of furniture that’s worth a lot of money. If my wife and I can make a couple of bucks, we will pick up the piece to put in our shop. We have a shop that sells custom furniture, antiques, and everything that you can imagine. We have housewares, rugs, appliances, and furniture for sale. When my wife and I were out looking at products on Saturday, we came across an antique oak and walnut furniture set that was a steal. The oak and walnut furniture was probably a hundred years old, but it was still in great shape. The oak and walnut furniture set was advertised at a price that was at least 30% lower than cost. The antique oak and walnut furniture was a steal and there was no way that we were going to give up the pieces. Unfortunately, we have a very small car and the shop was not willing to hold the items for more than 24 hours. We had to go to the hardware store and rent a large truck so we could transport the oak and walnut furniture. In total, there were eight chairs, a large dining room table with two leaves, and a coffee table and desk. The pieces are a great focal point for our new window display.
