I wish my air conditioning return vent was not in the ceiling

The smaller AC air vents that are either in your floor or up near your ceiling are the ones that blow out the heated and cooled air that your HVAC system produces

If you know anything about taking care of your air conditioning system, in even the slightest way, you know that it is important to change your AC air filter on a regular basis. For the most part, the average family is told that they should change their AC filter at least every 3 months. that advice changes, however, if you have someone in your house who has allergies or respiratory ailments, if you have dogs or cats, or if someone in the household smokes. All of these things add additional contaminants to the indoor air, and you want to have good indoor air quality, so changing out your AC filter will help you toward having healthier air in your house. I do not have any problem remembering to replace my disposable air conditioning filter, but I do have one problem that makes it inconvenient for me to change it. My AC return vent is in the ceiling. if you’re not sure what your air conditioning return vent is, it is simply the place that you open up and replace your filter. that particular event does not blow out air. The smaller AC air vents that are either in your floor or up near your ceiling are the ones that blow out the heated and cooled air that your HVAC system produces. The big return vent that I am talking about, the one where you have to go in and change your air conditioning filter on a regular basis, actually sucks air out of the house and in through that vent. Anyway, I wish it was not in the ceiling because I have to go outside, get the ladder, drag it in and climb up the ladder and replace the filter. I am getting older and I have arthritis, so this is not the simplest thing for me to do.
