I thought the dogs were in my backyard.

I couldn’t tell she was getting anxious, and I tried to get to Chippy before she bit him

My Heating and Air Conditioning pro was supposed to be at my house by 9 AM, which offered myself and others a lot of time to take care of our pets and get them outside of the house. I thought that if I tied them up in the yard, it would be better than having several Pit Bulls come tearing through the house when the Heating and Air Conditioning pro arrived. I was as much concerned with our dogs as I was by the 2 Chihuahuas. My hubby found out, long ago, why they were labeled ankle biters. I had our pets when I met him, and the 1st taste of being a pet owner was when Chippy sat watching him. She turned around long enough to say hello to myself and others when Chippy latched onto her heel tendon, and wouldn’t let go. I spent most of our 1st date sitting in the hospital with him. I learned I had to keep the pets out of the way of anyone who came to our house, and that was most vital when the Heating and Air Conditioning workers arrived. I heard the repair van pull up in the driveway, and made sure the pets were in their pens. I didn’t expect Chippy to find a way out of her pen, but somehow she did. The Heating and Air Conditioning pro wasn’t even out of the repair van when Chippy was on him. Chippy was jumping at him and yipping. I couldn’t tell she was getting anxious, and I tried to get to Chippy before she bit him. The Heating and Air Conditioning worker reached down and scooped Chippy up. She got right in her face and told her to calm down. I never saw Chippy subdued so suddenly.
