Probably one of my favorite things to do in life is sit with a good friend, along with an ice cold beer, and watch the sun sink into the sea while we talk about life.
I just messaged a good buddy of mine to see if he is able to meet me tonight, if he can’t then I will just go alone and enjoy the scenery.
It is very hot in the day so I like to keep inside and turn my smart thermostat down to keep cool till the heat wanes. I think by around 7pm it is cool enough to go outside without risking heat stroke. In the summer we get days where the heat index is over 113 F and it is best to stay in a cool place, especially if you are older and susceptible to heat exhaustion and heat stroke. I am going to clean the HVAC system today when I get a chance because I think we have a lot of dust in this house and a lot of it is probably loaded up in the system in the ducts and filters. I don’t think anyone has cleaned it for a while so it is high time I get off of my duff and do it. I just need to do my yoga first so my back is good with all of the bending I’ll be doing. We have an extra HEPA filter so cleaning the old one is as easy as popping it out and replacing it with the new one. I can then clean the dirty one at my leisure.
