I know I complain when it gets freezing outside.
- I don’t know of anyone who doesn’t have some complaint about leaving their hot beach home plus going out into the bitter freezing every afternoon.
If I wanted to work, this was the only choice I had. When my boss asked me if I would want to move if I got a hefty raise plus a current position in the business; I had to think about it. When he said I would move south, I looked out at the snow piling up plus I didn’t even think about it when I said yes. Now, I am wondering why I didn’t question where I would live or for how long. I am now permanently living in an area where Winter hot plus cold temperatures are in the seventies. It is always humid, whether it is Winter or summer. I have excellent air conditioner in my current home, although I still complain. There is something about walking out of a cool home plus into sweltering heat that is almost as exhausting as walking out into snow. I am kicking myself for not asking about where I was moving to. My mother questioned me about my choice of moving, knowing I hated the humidity as much as I hated the cold. I couldn’t think of anywhere I would always be comfortable, however where I am now, I don’t need to worry about snow. I’m pretty sure that as long as my air conditioner continues to run well, I’m going to learn to love it here. Maybe I can convince my mom to move here with me. She enjoys the south plus the weather all of us have.
