It isn’t simple opening an Heating & Air Conditioning dealer.

I was thinking about opening an Heating & Air Conditioning dealer, but I had a lot of research to do before moving forward.

I had to labor up a 5-year company system to take to the bank & get enough money to start the business.

I needed numbers to show the cost of the Heating & Air Conditioning repair vans, the tools for each, & the inventory I would need. I had to hire multiple Heating & Air Conditioning specialists & provide the bank the numbers for their acquisition, their pay over the next 5 years, & what their benefits package would include. There was the necessity of having a site to run my company out of, the bi-weekly costs of rental fees, power, water, sewage, & other incidentals. I was lost in a mountain of paperwork, & the bank had set up an appointment for myself and others in multiple weeks’ time. I wasn’t sure if I was doing the right thing after just looking through the paperwork. It was daunting, & I did not guess where to start. I called a friend of mine & asked for her input. She sat down & went over the paperwork; page by page. She showed myself and others how to look up the numbers I needed & where to go for other information. She recommended I print out the costs of the repair van & the tools. She also told myself and others I should have a detailed tally of all the inventory I would need, & a contract for leasing or renting a building to lake house the business. If it wasn’t for him, I would have burnt the paperwork & quit. I’m not a quitter, but starting a company is more stressful than running the business.
