The old one had never completely removed the humidity, and I wanted to make sure I had one that would do the job this time. After careful measurements, and deciding how much of a load I need for my growing family would put on it, I knew what size air conditioning unit we needed. Now I had to decide on the amount of efficiency I wanted. Since I wanted it to run efficiently, I chose an AC unit with a SEER of 21 and ordered it the same day.
