He wasn’t averse to purchasing a modern furnace. I had never known my husband to want to spend cash so quickly. When all of us bought the modern air conditioning unit, it took a year, plus several weeks, to decide if it was necessary plus which A/C device he wanted to buy. He was now pushing the Heating & Air Conditioning specialist to let him guess if he could get a modern furnace, plus wanted justification for doing it. I looked at him oddly when the Heating & Air Conditioning specialist left, plus he would not look at me. I wanted to guess why he was pushing so hard to get a modern furnace? He asked if I had been over to my brother’s lake house lately? Between working, taking care of the adolescents plus the house, plus being a spouse, I didn’t have time to go someplace. He said they had bought a modern furnace plus his brother was raving about how energy efficient it was. He wanted to have a modern furnace appreciate theirs. I would not put out the cash for a modern furnace just because he thought it was a great deal. Our furnace was less than many years outdated plus it would easily toil well for at least another many to many years. I told him all of us could start saving now, plus when it came time for a modern furnace, all of us may have one that is even more energy efficient than his brother’s.
