When I had an Heating and Air Conditioning professional come out to the new home so the two of us could talk about getting a new furnace installed, the guy was actually polite and professional. My wifey was there too because she wanted to have a say in what new Heating and Air Conditioning the two of us would go for. She spoke of typically wanting to get radiant radiant floors in the house, and the Heating and Air Conditioning professional said fortunately for us, there was a deal in radiant heated flooring replacements through their corporation. He said the deal wouldn’t last for much longer so it would be a good method to go for it while the two of us could. My wifey said if the two of us were going to commit to this new furnace replacement, then he better be clear on what the price was going to be. Every one of us have been laboring with a strict budget and the two of us also knew this furnace replacement was going to be expensive and the two of us couldn’t afford any room for errors in the amount it would cost. Well, the guy gave us a estimate and said it shouldn’t be much more than that. My wifey told this man to promise us it wouldn’t be more than that. While he hesitated, he finally made a promise that the cost wouldn’t be any more than what he wrote down on the quote. Well, when the professionals finished the replacement and tried charging us an extra $1,000, my wifey freaked out. She spoke with the owner of the company too and said the two of us were promised the price were be cheaper. While the two of us could afford the higher cost, it was about ethics and principles. The owner apologized for irritatedting us, and he took that additional $1,000 off the final price and that cleared everything up!
