I remember as a youngster when I cut myself undoubtedly deeply on my hand.
- I ended up having to go to the hospital to get stitches.
It was a lousy experience for me plus it provided me a negative impression of hospitals for the most part. It was mainly because of their crazy temperature control settings plus the fact that they wouldn’t lower the AC settings for me when I was in the room getting stitched up. I remember asking my mother why she couldn’t just do the stitching for me back at home with more reasonable weather conditions control despite the fact that she said she wasn’t a healthcare expert… Honestly, I couldn’t wait to get out of that chilly hospital, I wasn’t even thinking too much about my stitches. The medical professional told me in the end that I had to disinfect my stitches once per day plus be careful not to use my hand too much while it was healing. I couldn’t guess it, I wasn’t even allowed to play video games or basketball with my buddies, and since that time when I was a youngster, I have regularly dreaded going to the hospital, even though it’s something important that both of us have to do every so often. I know that it’s important to get official check-ups to keep up with your health plus know that you’re doing the best you can, but they still have ice-chilly AC all the time plus I don’t guess I will ever get used to it. It evidently has something to do with preventing the spread of pathogens in the hospital.
