A local resident called the heating & AC repair business, because she had a lot of dust inside of her home. She claimed that the dust had to be coming from that heating and AC unit, because she was a clean person. She claimed that she was dusting her home everyday and there was still dust and dirt on all of the surfaces. When this type of problem occurs, there is most often a problem with the ductwork and ventilation system. Sometimes a problem can be as simple as changing the air filter. If it is clogged with dust or dirt, the air filter cannot work properly. Tiny particles of dust in sharks are not trapped in the air filter and they are distributed with the air system. Another reason why problems like this might occur include the ductwork. If there are any breaks or tears in the ductwork, the closed system has a way for dust and dirt to enter the indoor air. When I went to the customer’s home, I didn’t know exactly why the problems were occurring, but I knew I could get to the bottom of the job in a hurry. I started with the ductwork and the air filter first. As soon as I entered the attic and started looking at each individual piece of ductwork, I quickly made my ass ass. I believed that the ductwork needed to be repaired and resealed in order to get rid of the indoor dust problem. I made my recommendations to the customer and I was happy to see him take my advice.
