I called the a/c serviceman when the dog stopped sleeping near the multi-split air conditioner

Summer is finally here and my dog and I can play out in the sun.

Sophie, my Rottweiler loves the sun and summer.

Whenever we are in the house in summer, Sophie loves to sleep near the vents of our quality air conditioner. She loves the cool air blowing on her fur to keep her cool. Every year Sophie repeats this behavior, so over the past few years, I have used Sophie to tell if there is an issue with the multi-split air conditioning system. My sister once joked that it is as if the dog knows more about air conditioning than I, its owner. I have this bad habit of postponing things until it’s either the last minute or until I cannot postpone them anymore. I had noticed that the unit was making unusual noises and the thermostat kept flickering even after changing the batteries. Since the appliances sometimes worked, I thought not to call the air conditioning technician just yet, I thought the issue would rectify itself. When Sophie stopped sleeping at her usual place, I called the indoor comfort business and booked an appointment for air conditioning repair. I knew all about keeping a healthy HVAC maintenance schedule, but I was negligent at times. The HVAC installation had been done five years ago and I had done tune-up only two times. The a/c serviceman from the air conditioning company vehemently discouraged me from neglecting my system as the cooling industry was becoming expensive which would translate to high prices on the units that provide air quality. I could save myself an expensive trip to the air conditioning provider just by taking better care of the a/c unit.
