For a little while, I felt like we were being strung along by our HVAC professional.
He was always convincing us to replace to something better, but the last heating and air conditioning system we had was only 10 years old and he convinced us to go for a ductless HVAC system, I mean, the ductless isn’t terrible at all, we have been saving a lot of money in yearly bills, but genuinely we could have let the last heating and air conditioning system run until it was no longer repairable. I thought we could have gotten another 5 years at least, but the heating and air conditioning professional made the newer HVAC system sound so amazing. He was talking about the HVAC zone control and the built-in air purification. Those things are pretty nice I have to admit, but it wasn’t necessary to go for this category of HVAC system so soon. Then after that, the guy managed to talk us into getting a few portable UV air purifiers for around the house. The UV light kills the harmful pathogens in the apartment and the UV air purifiers we have used HEPA filters. These UV air purifiers were quite high-priced and I almost feel like the HVAC professional was laughing on his way to the bank since we already had air purification in our home. I don’t entirely know, I do think these are enjoyable HVAC components to have, but we don’t have to spend all our money so quickly on odd HVAC components. I told our spouse that next time he comes over for HVAC repair, we can’t let him sell us anything.
