Neglecting your furnace is never a good idea, especially when you’re living in a colder climate like the one that we live in. We have been living in this area for a really long time now and so our furnace has always been really important to our quality of life and our well being. Actually, having a well working furnace is important to survival in general in the area where we live. You wouldn’t be able to live through a winter here in our area without a properly working heating system, that’s for sure. Anyway, we found out right away after we moved here that having a great heating system was going to be important. We ended up purchasing a really great high efficiency heating system for our house. Even though the furnace was really expensive, and it was more than we wanted to spend for it at the time, we are glad that we went with this particular heating system. It’s done really well for us, and we haven’t had to do any major repairs on it since we purchased it. We have made sure to go ahead and do regular maintenance work on the furnace ourselves and we always make sure that our air filters are changed regularly. Not only that, but we have a professional HVAC technician come to check out the furnace three times per year. They check it once before the cold season, once during the cold season, and once after. We feel like the furnace was a big enough investment to warrant that level of service!
