Having multiple pets can make your home smell

I retired from my job at the age 65.

  • People present retirement as this happy time filled with travel and other such things.

Maybe it is for some people, but for me, I felt quite empty. My job fulfilled me in every way, and it really wasn’t a job for me, because I was having fun. However, my increasing issues with my health started to push me away, and I knew I had to retire. For days afterward, I felt bored and sad and mostly laid around. It took me a while but I eventually realized that laying around and moping wasn’t going to get me anywhere, so instead, I used my new found free time to do something I had always wanted to do. I had always wanted to help rescue unwanted animals and help them adopt them to forever homes. I started looking for animals people no longer wanted, and it didn’t take me long before I had animals of all kinds. I had reptiles, birds, cats, dogs and even horses! Obviously all of these animals were going to need a lot of care and work, so a good friend of mine who was a major animal lover, volunteered to help with the care. There was just one issue that kept coming up. Having multiple animals in my home was causing it to smell weird. I didn’t want my home to smell weird, and so my friend suggested getting a whole home media air cleaner. I liked the idea of an air purifier for the home, as an air cleaner would help clean the air more efficiently. My friend went out and bought the whole home media air cleaner and set it up in the home to control the smell.
