The bar owner at my favorite joint has been giving me a bunch of drinks on the house lately.
He’s so thrilled because now he enjoys massive energy savings because of a particular energy saving tip that I provided him with.
It was actually something he was skeptical about at first. I told him that he should upgrade his old programmable thermostat to a smart thermostat. This is honestly one of the best energy saving tips because you save up to 15% on your energy bills simply because of how the smart thermostat works. You’d be amazed with how much your energy bills will drop, and these are exactly the things I told the bar owner. I even put a bet down on the table. I told him I bet him 50 bucks that he would be thankful that he made the simple upgrade and I would even pay for the thermostat if he didn’t like it. And it really is simple, because all you have to do is buy a smart thermostat either from the HVAC company or some sort of online HVAC store. Then you simply take a picture of all the wires with the old thermostat so you can identify everything. Then you just match all the appropriate wires to the new smart thermostat, being certain you have all the wires labeled. Well, he didn’t have any trouble replacing the old thermostat. He didn’t need to hire some HVAC professional or anything. Now he has been talking about the thing non-stop. He tells me how much he loves the smart app and how he can remote control his system from anywhere. He also loves that he didn’t have to reprogram the thermostat, as it learned his preferred settings automatically. Now I’m getting free drinks and not to mention that 50 bucks!
