Ever since the pandemic began, I have been doing everything I can to keep my house free of the virus.

No one can enter without first using sanitizer and then putting on gloves. Our daughter thinks we are crazy, but I have severe asthma and my husband has a heart problem. I feared that if I got the virus, I wouldn’t be able to take care of him. I was also afraid that if he got the virus, he wouldn’t survive. I had to take care of us. I called my HVAC company and asked if they were still coming to homes. The receptionist asked me if I was having a problem with the furnace or heating system, and I told her no. She asked if I was having a problem with air quality and I said no. She began to ask something else and I interrupted her. I explained that if she gave me a chance to speak, I could tell her exactly what I wanted from them. I wanted information on the air purification system. I needed to find out if my HVAC system was able to sustain an air purification system. She told me she would need to send a technician out to the house to inspect the air conditioning unit and the furnace. I told her they had about my policies that came about from the virus. She said they would wear a white coverall, booties, gloves and masks. The next day, the HvAC technician showed up in his space suit and told me that I could have an air purification installed. The air purification system was being installed the following day.
