This last weekend, I planned a hiking trip for our partner and I, but there’s honestly nothing better than hiking in our opinion because you get your exercise, fresh air, and get to see all the lovely scenery that nature has to offer to you.

The people I was with and I live on a gorgeous planet so why not check out the sites? So I ended up taking her to this location where the hiking trail was next to a stream.

The skies were charming too, although I realized the sunshine was going to be beating down on us, and so both of us went to the store and I was trying to find something that would help us remain cool. That’s when I found cooling hats, that were hats with a sort of makeshift cooling system. They were designed to hold water and reflect the sunshine heating rays to make your body a fantastic deal cooler and more comfortable in the heat of the day. They also came with a fan and a mini solar panel to keep the fan running off a small rechargeable battery! I was a little bit skeptical although I couldn’t guess of anything else other than an ice pack to keep us cool on our hike. I did have a couple of ice packs to keep our food from spoiling and our drinks cold. I sincerely was surprised at how well the cooling hats worked. I asked our partner if the cooling hat looked silly on me and she said it entirely looked kind of stylish, even with the fan clipped on the hat; but fortunately, you had the option to remove the fan if you wanted! All in all, the cooling hat by itself worked pretty well. The people I was with and I hiked all the way until both of us found a nice clearing where both of us could prefer our picnic, and it was honestly delightful!

It was nice being able to start finally working in my house office full-time; however, there were some serious problems.

For one, my office was on the far side of the condo where the insulation wasn’t so great, this made it so the hot as well as cold temperatures were always uneven on that space of the condo as well as the office was pretty uncomfortable because of this, and I ended up finally working on adding extra insulation in the walls as well as in the attic space above my office.

This undoubtedly helped a great deal in keeping my office toasty while I was finally working, but still, it wasn’t quite enough, so I decided to use a portable heating system in my office. I care about the little portable heating system I have because I can adjust the temperature control settings exactly where I want them instead of just having a high as well as low setting. Those types of gas furnaces have always been bothersome because even on a low setting, they can start to make a room feel warm. That means you have to shut them off instead of just lowering the temperature control setting; later on, I decided to have an heating as well as A/C professional come out as well as he said that he thought it wasn’t sizzling enough in my office because the air duct seemed to be clogged up. This was something that I never thought of as well as he talked about doing air duct cleaning for me. I was quick to agree to the heating as well as A/C service as well and then he took out the heavy duty vacuuming tools, but when the air duct was cleaned all around the house, abruptly the heating was much more robust in my office area.
