Before I moved out to the country, I used to live in a pretty sweet little suburban home.
It was nice having a home that didn’t require a lot of renovation work. All of us did a few things that were necessary though. All of us had a current roof installed on the garage. I legitimately got some friends to help do that project which turned out to be pretty nice. It actually was a lot cheaper than what I would have paid the professionals. But of course, I had to help with cleanup and everything. I remember all of us collected so numerous nails, it was crazy. I also installed a ductless mini chop in the garage. I remember how easy the task was because the garage wall is severely easy to go through. When I moved to our house in the country, I realized that I was going to have to install a ductless mini chop for the entire household. I have never installed a ductless mini chop with many zones before, but I didn’t think it would be too challenging. The biggest challenge about installing this unique HVAC was the fact that I had to drill a 3.5 inch hole through the cinder block. If you have ever tried doing that, you’ll guess it can be a little bit taxing if you don’t have the respected tools required. I simply used my hand drill with a hole saw though, and it got the task done but I went through a number of battery charges, and you also have to be careful not to drill through the web of cinder blocks as that would make the task a lot more challenging. Happily, I was able to do the work with no real problems, and the condo feels perfectly comfortable both in the Winter and the Summer now.
