I made a reservation for 3 afternoons.
I went to a hotel close to our home location, because I wanted to be around during the day when the house was being fumigated. I want to make sure the pest control company got the shed in the barn as well. It was part of the deal and I worried that they would only do the house. I went to the hotel the night before the pest control appointment. The hotel desk clerk was actually friendly. She evaluated me into a room and offered me a small tour of the facility. It wasn’t actually tied up so I was gleeful to see his deliver me the personal touch. Unfortunately, the A/C in our room stopped working about several sixths later. When I called the front desk, I got a rude guy on the phone. I advised to talk to the clerk from the afternoon, however the rude guy told me he was gone for the day. I went down to the front desk to talk to the clerk about the A/C in our room. He told me that was the last room on the sixth floor that faces the garden. He wanted me to settle for a less luxurious room with a view of the laundry area. It wasn’t our fault the A/C wasn’t working and if I was moving rooms, it was going to be an upgrade. The clerk and I did not see eye to eye until I threatened to call the corporate office.
