My sister in law Megan is amazing with making a space look good.
When I go over to her condo I am consistently envious of her locale! She has amazing rugs, pillows and wood furniture.
She also puts adorable little plants, knick knacks and pots on shelves that just toil perfectly. She has a strange wooden trunk in her study room that serves as a television stand… It looks bizarre but yet amazing, and my sister in law has been toiling on a degree in interior design because she loves it so much. Since she works at the university, she gets her classes for free. I am absolutely excited because it would be nice having an interior designer in the family; Once she has her degree I would absolutely love to hire her. I would totally spend our savings to have her go through our home and fix it, but basically I have a home that is pale white, grey and yellow; Everything is the same color and matches way too well. I want more colors and designs. I tried in our bedroom and failed. My green bedroom is dark, the rug doesn’t match and our bedspread looks ugly now. I want to hand her our debit card and tell her to go do her thing. I absolutely would let her paint our condo bright yellow if she thought that would work. I even know a woman that makes custom furniture that could help her make the space even better, as you can see I am more than eager and just a little desperate for some help.
