This business trip was terrible from the start

I normally use the same hotel chain when I am travelling.

  • I care about this hotel chain much more than any other because they have the best service.

They have the best food plus everyone is certainly helpful. I have never had a problem with my room, the air quality, or the air conditioning. When I called for a reservation the last time, they told me and others they had no rooms available. I asked if they had any junior suites, or any other type of suite available. I honestly did not want to go to another hotel. They apologized yet said there was nothing they could do. I ended up staying at a hotel I was unfamiliar with, however that still had fourstars. I hoped the service, air quality, plus heating and air conditioning system would be equally as superb as my normal go-to hotel. I arrived at the hotel right at check-in time plus I went to my assigned room. I wanted to get familiar with my surroundings plus get some paperwork done before going to my appointment in the morning. I had no desk or table to do tasks at. I only had the bed, more than one night stands, plus the bureau. I called the front desk at which point I told them this room wouldn’t work. He put myself and others in 1 of their suites. I was content with the suite, however the air quality was horrible. It was sizzling plus humid in the entire suite. I was able to turn the AC on in the living room where I would be certainly working. I then went into the bedroom, planning on turning on the AC, however it wasn’t certainly working. I left all the doors open, hoping to get the AC into the bedroom. I was thrilled I only had to spend 1 single night there.
