At exactly 11 am, we heard a knock on the door and I opened it to let in the HVAC professional.
After finishing law school, I got a job at a top firm in the city and began working my way to becoming the youngest partner in the firm’s history. But, after one particularly challenging case, I was worn out and felt the desire for such a fast pace of life come to an end. At that time I also met a former classmate from high school and we fell in love. This is how I ended up a mom with 2 amazing kids and I must say I don’t miss the cut throat world that I once thrived in. The other day, we were having an issue with the HVAC system in our home. I had tried to change the temperature settings to ensure the house was cooler. But, there was still warm air blowing from the HVAC system. So, since my partner wasn’t at home, I took it upon myself to call the HVAC service and repair company. They said it would be an hour or two before a HVAC professional came by the house. At exactly 11 am, we heard a knock on the door and I opened it to let in the HVAC professional. She followed me to where we have the system set up and my youngest was right behind us. The whole time the HVAC professional was fixing the faulty HVAC system, my youngest was there watching and asking questions. It was such a lovely scene and the HVAC professional was so nice to him. She let him handle a few small HVAC tools and even at one point tried to show him where the fault was with the HVAC system.
