My husband Bob bought radiant heated flooring for me for Christmas last year, and I am really loving it.
I never would have thought that I would be someone who liked radiant heated flooring, but I really love it way more than I thought I would.
Around here where we live, the temperatures vary drastically from one season to the next. When the weather starts cooling down in the winter, the temperature around here gets to be in the twenties and even in the teens fairly quickly. I hate the cold weather most of the time and I have a hard time dealing with it. Since I have started to get older, I have had issues with my joints and staying cold makes me feel even worse than I already do. When my husband realized that I was having issues with my feet and my legs because of the cold floors in the house, he decided to do something about it. He called up our local heating and cooling company and started talking to them about radiant heated flooring. He got an estimate last year in the fall and then over the winter, he had it installed for me. The radiant heated flooring in the house is in the kitchen, the master bedroom, the bathroom, and the laundry room. In other words, it’s everywhere where I end up standing up all the time. I always joke around that I spend the vast majority of my time in the laundry room and so that’s why he had the radiant heated flooring put in there!
