We have been through hell and back. A year after we got married, she had a miscarriage that took a toll on her mentally. I had to step up and take care of her until she was better. Later, we agreed to try for another baby and had a wonderful doctor who was monitoring her pregnancy. Eventually, she gave birth to twins and we were over the moon. It’s been such a great time raising our kids and now we have a new member in our family. Our kids are 6 and wanted a puppy, so we got one for their birthday. Adding a dog to our family has been great, but it’s also been challenging to our indoor air quality. We ended up going for a large breed and boy does she shed around the house. I had to hire an HVAC technician to help us figure out how to improve our indoor air quality. The HVAC technician came by the house one afternoon when we were all home and did an inspection on the HVAC system. He had to change the air filter with something better to make our home more comfortable. This was the first time we had ever heard of a HEPA filter. The HVAC technician explained that HEPA filters are superior when it comes to better indoor air quality. A HEPA filter would improve our situation, but we should also look into adding a whole-home air purification system.
