Lately, our mind has been so preoccupied with random stuff that I am starting to forget to do a few important things, then and don’t get me wrong, forgetting a few jobs here in addition to there is normal, however I am now forgetting to do things that I consistently remembered before, for example, when leaving our home, I have consistently adjusted the temperature on our temperature control, but lately, I have been forgetting to do that… I adjust the temperature so that when the home is empty the cooling system doesn’t cycle on.
It makes no sense to have the cooling system cooling a home with nobody in it; So, decreasing the temperature control prior to leaving home is something that I have consistently done! But lately, it has been slipping our mind.
In fact, last week, I forgot to adjust the temperature control 3 times. And once I leave home, I am gone for about 14 minutes, which means our cooling system is cycling on in addition to off all day long. The a single positive side to that is, when I get home, our home is nice in addition to cool. But leaving the cooling system on all day in an empty home is a waste of money. After complaining to our daughter, she recommended that I get a programmable temperature control. I have never thought about getting a programmable temperature control, but it might just be the solution to our problem. I would be able to program the temperature control for the afternoons when I will be gone out of the house. So, the programmable temperature control would essentially eliminate our issue in addition to it would also save me so much money in the process. All around, the temperature control sounds prefer a good idea, so I placed an order for a single, in addition to it will be here next week.
