I walked into the housing center the other month and asked where they kept their area heaters! He asked me if I was truly serious. With the cold wave, all the people were coming in for an area heater, in case their heating equipment died. The hot and cold temperatures dropped close to twenty degrees in less than a single day! Mom was getting older and she was not able to handle the cold. I wanted to make sure she had an area oil furnace to help compensate for the cold weather. I found one area heater, but it didn’t have all the safety features I was genuinely looking for. I wanted to make sure it had tip-over so that when the area oil furnace was actually pushed over, it would automatically turn off. I wanted to make sure the area oil furnace didn’t need any fuel. It genuinely scared me she would get up in the day and bump into the area oil furnace and possibly burn herself or the apartment down. I wanted nothing to happen to my dear mom.
