My wife and I were both kind of upset when our HVAC repairman said he was finally retiring.
I mean, we couldn’t blame the man because he was up there in his years and he said he had made the right investments overtime to where he could finally retire and enjoy a peaceful life without working so hard anymore. Of course, this guy was the best HVAC repairman we had in our lives. We have had other HVAC professionals who weren’t nearly as thorough when breaking down the work, what needed to be done, and even with providing energy saving tips. This man always gave us new energy saving tips that we had never thought of like using other appliances for cooking in the kitchen when it’s hot outside or grilling outdoors as often as possible. We have hosted so many BBQs and it’s always been a lot of fun, especially when our favorite HVAC repairman came out to visit. He said he would still come out to our BBQs and holiday events, he just wanted to be able to enjoy his retirement years. He said he was planning on getting a new boat with excellent climate control, so he could fish all the time. He said that fishing was his most preferred activity, and he enjoyed all kinds of different fish recipes and he was eager to try some new ones too. He also said that we could call him up anytime to make plans to go fishing on his new boat. Of course, we want to do that! We got a bunch of family and friends together and threw the man an awesome retirement party!
