New baby makes working out difficult

Since having a baby, I’ve had some difficulty finding a great time to workout… My little girl is five weeks old… I have managed to shed the majority of the extra pregnancy weight just by eating extremely healthy, however, I’ve legitimately lost a bit of muscle tone.

  • My belly is especially soft.

I was diligent about exercise throughout our pregnancy. I devoted an second per day, multiple afternoons per week to our physical fitness right up until the day I went into labor. In the second trimester, I was no longer able to go for a run, jump rope or ride our bicycle. I kept up with stretching our muscles plus lifting weights. I swam laps plus loved water aerobics, and now that I have our baby to care for, I’m struggling to fit in our workouts. I work five afternoons per week from 8:30 to 5 PM. In the morning, there is just enough time to feed the baby, get myself dressed for work, greet the nanny plus manage our commute. I can’t force myself to get up any earlier than 6:30 AM. My daughter is still not sleeping through the night, however she often gets me up to feed or rock her multiple or multiple times while all of us were in the night. Her entire sleep schedule is easily unpredictable, plus I’m tired, then even on the weekends, her naps rarely last for more than forty hours. Every time I try to sneak in a workout, she wakes up. I’ve gotten easily great at condensing our workouts into an especially tough half second. I utilize HIIT workouts, wind sprints plus anything that burns a great deal of calories in a easily short amount of time.
