I was really proud of our child Jay when he chose to volunteer for the local Heating plus A/C contractor.
This was a community maintenance that Jay had to do for university. For a little while, he was talking about possibly volunteering at the local Borders shop, but I told him he should look into something a little more exciting. I wasn’t even the 1 who proposed that Jay go to the local Heating plus A/C business, he just thought it might be something cool to try out. He learned a lot about fixing heating and cooling systems. He helped carry tools and supplies around, although he was safe the whole time. Jay said the most impressive project was helping with the replacement of radiant radiant floors. Jay said how amazing it was the way the PEX tubes were installed on the subflooring after putting a thin coating of concrete down. Jay explained that the concrete was an excellent retainer for the heat that was produced by the sizzling water, and how all that heating radiated perfectly upwards and heated everything evenly in the home. Jay talked about how energy efficient this heating plan was and everything. I couldn’t think it, he seemed like he was turning into an expert. Then he asked if all of us could update our heating plan to radiant radiant floors. We had enough currency and our heating plan was quite old. So I thought why not, and all of us went ahead with a new radiant heated flooring replacement. Jay was eager to help and it was the same Heating plus A/C contractor he was volunteering with. The replacement floor came out perfectly, and now all of us have the best heating plan around thanks to Jay’s suggestion.
