I recently had to invest in a totally brand new, extremely expensive, but fully up to date central heating and air conditioning system unit. This was because my old central heating and air conditioning system finally broke down to the point of no repair. I do not feel bad at all though as it was long overdue anyhow. My central heat and a/c unit lasted for 20 years! That is longer than most central heating and air conditioning systems last. The reason I think it actually lasted that long was because I always got my HVAC tune ups and check ups done on time and I also took care of all the other heating and cooling maintenance needing to be done with my central heating and air conditioning system. Keeping up on the maintenance was the key I believe to my central HVAC unit lasting for 2 complete decades. It was a really good HVAC brand and built as well. The heating and air conditioning systems that they have today should actually be even better than the old one. So this heat and a/c unit I just invested in should maybe last me another 20 years or maybe more if I take care of it the same exact way, which I totally plan on doing. I was lucky to get an HVAC service plan with the brand new central heating and air conditioning system as well. Also another bonus was that I was able to get an HVAC payment plan. This is where I could pay in monthly installments over the next few years.
