I also think that our mother is stuck with this animal no matter what; Keeping it outdoors isn’t going to change their relationship. Eventually the animal will be indoors almost all afternoon long. I can tell that is what the animal wants. It will be nicer for myself and others to hang out in rather than outside in the heat too.

So the furniture all felt heated by being on the floors. I put my new hardwood overtop and you don’t even see the machine. There are no ugly indoor or outdoor units anymore. There are no Hague heating repair appointments. The furnace is safely tucked away and out of sight. It was a giant expense that has been so worth it. My floors look and assume much better now.

My partner and I had to add an addition onto our home. The people I was with and I had just the right amount of space for the several of us. After I got pregnant we realized that it wasn’t feasible sticking a baby in there. The addition cost quite a bit. It also required quite a few servicemen. Once you are deep in the project, you might as well not cheap out. The people I was with and I could have just added a single family room and been done, but I wanted to make it perfect. I decided to add another powder room and a laundry set up. That meant we needed a builder to entirely frame out the space. The baby’s room, new powder room and laundry room each have a ductless mini cut and temperature control. They can have their own particular heating and cooling program, and zone control in half the house, central Heating & A/C in the other. I figure once my old system breaks, I will make every room in the condo ductless and attach to that a single outdoor unit. It is a more efficient way.

I get to sleep in a comfy guest bed and be by myself. My kid recently upgraded her Heating & A/C equipment. She has a smart pad that controls the heating, cooling, security cameras, door and window locks and lights. There are so many buttons on that contraption I don’t assume what to do. I am distraught about turning off security cameras or having no lights. My kid has programs for everything too. The Heating & A/C is zone control capable. Each room has its own program. The lights are on a timer. Everything locks around 10pm every evening. So I am hesitant to play around and learn the system. The issue is that my kid leaves the condo in low cooling mode everytime. I guess she does it to make myself and others comfortable. Well I don’t need or want that much AC. I just freeze to death the whole time there. I should entirely figure out how to adjust the temperature control.
