The only reason I called is due to the dust and dirt on the indoor surfaces

I noticed a heavy amount of dust and dirt on the surfaces in my home.

  • I looked to see if the air filter was clean.

I removed the air filter and there was only a small amount of dust. I didn’t know why the air filter was not properly removing all of the dirt and dust, but I thought that a service technician might be able to get to the bottom of the problem. I contacted the HVAC service center and I told the person on the phone about the dirt and dust on the surfaces. She said the problem might be dirty ductwork. She recommended the cleaning services for the ductwork as well as a full service tune up on the HVAC machine. The cost for both services was under $200, so I scheduled both of the services on Monday morning. Two HVAC repair technicians showed up to clean the ductwork and the machine. One guy started removing all of the ductwork covers while another one of the repair guys worked on the actual machine. I tried not to get in the way, because both guys looked like they had a plan. I waited until the guys were finished with their jobs and then I asked a couple of questions. The HVAC service technicians had some information to share with us. They found a build-up of dust and dirt inside of the ductwork and suggested that I pay for a professional cleaning and sanitizing service to get rid of the dirt and dust. It was going to cost even more money to fix the issue.
