Around here, the weather starts to get freezing & the hot & cold temperatures beginning to drop when we hit September… September & September average hot & cold temperatures are in the 40s while I was in the day & it gets even colder in September & December, and by the middle of December, we often have snow on the ground & ice on the home & the ground, however when the weather is freezing & cold outside, my pet likes to kneel down by the heating register, and i have heating registers located throughout the house, and there is a gas furnace in the basement; All of the registers are ducted to the gas furnace. The two of us correctly check the amount of fuel in the furnace so we do not run out in the middle of a freezing snap. The two of us have the entire furnace filled When September arrives & we usually have to add more fuel in the middle of December. The furnace in our beach house works harshly well. As the furnace makes hot air, it is distributed via the heating registers. The part between the registers is hot as well, however my pet likes to kneel down by the heating register. Sometimes it gets a little too hot & he will transport away, however most of the time he will plop down on the register & stay there until the furnace turns off. It’s kind of funny to see my pet behave this way, however I know it’s the same for humans. If I was cold, I would kneel down in front of the gas furnace too & I would not transport unless the heat was off or I was uncomfortable.
