I think it has been a few weeks since eating a burger, so tonight could be the night that I eat one again.
That is, unless my mom has something up her sleeve for dinner later.
You can’t beat mom’s cooking, not even with three burgers and a stick! Well, maybe another mom’s cooking could beat my mom’s cooking, but I don’t have any moms wanting to cook me dinner tonight. I need to get a ride from mom tomorrow to the local business to buy some food and then I am going to my aunt’s house for a couple of weeks. My aunt has a nice house with three bedrooms and a really good heating and A/C system to keep us comfortable. I will see if she needs anything done while I am there so I can help her out and kind of pay her back for letting me stay with her. I will maybe work for this new contractor while I am here to help cover my Uber rides and taxi rides. I don’t have a car as I sold it last time I was here because it was sitting too long and falling apart. I live overseas now and made the choice to live there eight years ago when I got a job working for this cooling supplier doing HVAC repairs and things like that. I don’t know if I would want to live back here in the States again as life is just too fast for me, but I do miss my family and friends so much. It seems like they are all getting older and dying without me here.
