The summer has always been one of my favorite seasons of the year but unfortunately it’s also one of the hottest.
I live in a very arid type of environment and so the summer here can be really scorching.
Living here without any kind of air conditioning system really isn’t much of an option. You have to have an AC system if you’re going to stay cool. If you don’t have an air conditioning system there is a chance that if you don’t find shade and stay in the sun that you could overheat and be in some real danger. As you might imagine, the cooling companies here make a lot of money off of people relying on having good quality air conditioning systems. Everybody here is always rushing during the summer months to have their AC systems maintained and service. Because having your air conditioning system maintained is very important if you don’t want it to break down from the heat. AC replacements are also fairly common here because a lot of the air conditioning systems just don’t last as long due to stress from the constant intense heat. The summer is still one of my seasons because of all the opportunities to have a lot of fun. I do remember this one summer though that I didn’t have a good year at all. That was the summer that my air conditioning system broke down when I got too hot. All I can say is that was a torturous day, I had to go three days without any kind of AC and that was something that I could never imagine doing again. I was constantly hot, I couldn’t be uncomfortable, it was just cool enough to avoid overheating. I paid extra money to have the cooling specialist come out to my home and repair the AC system as quickly as possible. The original wait was 3 weeks long! I don’t think that I could have gone that long without having a working AC in my house.
