I walked into mom plus dad’s home last week, plus I was surprised at how cold it was inside! Mom said the heating system wasn’t heating the house, plus they were waiting for the heating as well as an A/C specialist to arrive… The only thing they had to heat the home with was 2 area heaters; I asked if they wanted to come to our house, but mom assured myself and others she was fine, but dad looked like he wasn’t faring so well, plus I was extremely nervous.
- Dad had a heart attack less than a month ago, plus I didn’t want him getting sick, and both of us talked for a bit, but dad insisted he was fantastic plus was going to stay home with mom.
I walked into the kitchen plus told mom there was no way I was going to allow them to stay in a home that didn’t have a working heating system. Mom told myself and others to mind our own business. I wanted to know when the heating as well as the A/C specialist was supposed to get there… She told myself and others it would not be too long. That’s when I realized she hadn’t even called the heating as well as the A/C dealer. I asked dad if I was right plus he mumbled something about all their resources being maxed out when he had his heart attack. They could not get the cash to call the heating as well as the A/C dealer. I called them for them plus offered them our debit card numbers. I wanted the heating system repaired instantly, or they were going home with us. Mom was irritated with me, but dad took a deep breath, kissed our cheek, plus said thank you.
