When we consulted with a local Heating, Ventilation, & A/C pro recently, he was telling us about the kinds of different furnaces we could go for.
Initially, I just wanted to have our boiler replaced because it was so old.
Max and I did have somebody come and check out the boiler plan the previous year & he was saying how they didn’t make boilers that last long appreciate that anymore. I wasn’t sure if what he was saying was true or not, but that did make myself and Max consider keeping the boiler for longer; Unfortunately, even though the boiler worked well, I didn’t appreciate the extravagant energy bills. Even with the condo being totally sealed up for the Wintertide season, the heating bills were still pretty darn fancy. This time, Max was adamant about going for a heating plan replace. The HVAC pro who came out this time was telling us about dual fuel furnaces which seemed nice to have. While several of the new furnaces were interesting, nothing definitely stood out to us as much as radiant floors. The guy was saying that we could get an easily nice boiler plan that was built to last around 40 years & radiant radiant floors would require a bare minimal service. He even said they were so confident in their installations & Heating, Ventilation, & A/C brands, that they offered a 25 year warranty, which isn’t too shabby! So Max decided to go for the radiant heated floor installation & so far we have been romantic it! The only thing that was required was switching the floors to stone, so that the heating could be radiated better throughout our home, & that was a wonderful move!
