For a long time, my wife and I lived in the suburbs with our children where the taxes were especially high. We finally talked about building a house out in the country. This way, we wouldn’t have insanely high taxes and we would have a brand new home customized to our needs! We both have successful careers and together, we had more than enough money to build a really nice home. It basically was like designing our dream home, together, and it was a beautiful thing. We bought a really nice piece of land that was away from it all. Our driveway was paved and connected to one of the main roads in the area. The site of our home was away from everything and totally peaceful. We even saw a bunch of bald eagles flying around during the construction process. We worked with some fantastic local contractors. The HVAC contractors were especially amazing because they take care of sheet metal fabrication. They built such an amazing ductwork system. They actually recommended that we go for high velocity heating and cooling. Not only is our home a beautiful place to behold, but our HVAC system is extremely energy efficient and works so quickly. We can heat or cool our place down within minutes, and I’m not even exaggerating! Whenever we have friends and family come out these days, they can’t stop talking about the beautiful landscaping, and how wonderful and cozy our home is. We have a fancy fireplace in the living room and in our master bedroom also, so we’re always cozy at home.
