Earlier this year, I accepted a new position as a marketing executive for a major firm in the country. I wasn’t sure if I would get the position, so I was shocked when I was contacted for the interview. Everything went well with the interview, and I knew that I had the job. About two weeks after the interview, the HR manager from the company contacted me and made an offer. What I didn’t expect was that the position was in another state. Apparently, the company decided to take the position in a different direction. At first, I hesitated to say yes to the position because one thing I hate is to move out of state. Well, after voicing my concern about relocating, the HR assured me that it would be a smooth process. She mentioned that they would provide corporate housing until I found a permanent place to live. Corporate housing allows business travelers the benefits of living in a space that doesn’t interrupt their lives too much. The corporate rentals are usually fully furnished, and they offer great amenities. And best of all, they do feel like home away from home. After learning about the corporate rental and the relocation package that the company offered, I decided to accept the position. The corporate housing made the transition into the new state easier than I expected. I am still in the process of searching for a home, and as much as I love this rental, I am hoping to find something soon.
