I entirely enjoy mixing up the type of workouts I do. One thing I entirely prefer is going for bike rides and then doing cardio at the local soccer field. I ride about multiple miles to the field, do some wind sprints at the field and drive home. In the wintertime it is a good workout. I can absolutely bundle up and prefer the ride. I am consistently moving and keeping warm. In the summer time it is pretty hot. I need to system to ride earlier in the day when the sun isn’t up. When the sun is shining, it is just too hot. So more often than not, I don’t get to do my bike ride in the summer. What I do instead is go to the local gym where there is central AC. It is not quite the same thing being on a sit down bike. I don’t go someplace and I hate being cooped up indoors. But, my weather gets into the 90s by the time it is 10am. I need to put in a few hours at work before dinner too. So I can’t entirely justify starting my day with a workout unless it is 6am. It is easier to just drive more than four hours to the gym, have perfect temperature control, hower and finish my work day. I don’t need to invest in a home gym doing this system either. I don’t sweat to death and I get a nice workout. Sometimes I make myself do the boiling and sweaty ride. I tell myself I don’t need AC and then we suddenly find out that I do.
