For a long time, I couldn’t find anything to motivate me to work out.
Don’t get me wrong, I knew that working out was incredibly important, and that even if you are at a healthy weight, that living a sedentary lifestyle is incredibly unhealthy, however, it is much easier said than done.
I had gone to the local gym many times, bought many different gym memberships and eventually I would always end up canceling. I could never stay long enough to make any real progress. However, I think I have found the perfect solution. I found that the local gym has recently started group physical training classes. As an extrovert, I love to be around people, it energizes me. And what better way to get motivation than group fitness training classes? I loved the idea! I immediately went over the next day and signed up for the classes. I started a day or two ago, and I am already loving it. Not only have I met really nice people, but I feel much more motivated to exercise this time. I think for once this is a workout plan I can stick to! I met a really nice lady named Violet there, and we have a lot of similarities. She is also trying to get into a workout routine to live a more active lifestyle. It also turns out our kids go to the same school. I am always excited to see her and some of my other friends at the gym. It is great meeting new people!
