I finally decided to go to the YMCA in my neighborhood.
I have lived here for 2 years now, and I drive by it every day.
I have always wondered if I would like the facility, but I didn’t take the time to stop in and see it for myself. Last month, my cousin came to visit, and she has a YMCA membership. She also has a gym membership, but there are no gyms in my neighborhood. The closest one is about a 10 to 15 minute drive. So, it was easier for her to workout at the YMCA. She invited me to come with her and I agreed. I haven’t been to the gym since I started working from home. My gym is located right beside the company I work for, so it was easy to go to the gym after work. But now, it’s hard to drive across town in the mornings or in the evenings. And unfortunately, I can’t transfer my membership to any other local gym facilities. So, I have been walking in my neighborhood because that has been the best way for me to work out. I do have a workout plan that I received from my personal trainer and I do stick to it as much as possible. While going to the gym is an effective way to maintain health and wellness, the gym isn’t always accessible. So, it is up to the individual to find other ways to stick to a workout and health plan. Personally, from now on, I think I will be using the YMCA facility in my neighborhood.
